Vicky Bailey, Assistant Secretary, Office of Policy and International Affairs responded to IECA’s letter of July 15, 2003 thanking IECA for a comprehensive set of policy options addressing natural gas supply and price issues. DOE Responds to IECA Letter. Convenes Federal Agencies to Discuss IECA Recommendation
Vickie Bailey, Assistant Secretary, Office of Policy and International Affairs responded to IECA‘s letter of June 23, 2003 stating support to develop alternatives for use of gas in power generation and improved energy efficiency. Ms.Bailey also said representatives from the White House and several Federal departments and agencies met to discuss IECA’s recommendation dealing with options to encourage temporary fuel switching from natural gas.
